We have a simple goal at Able Home Health Care
To help you live life. No one ever sets out to rely on a personalized mobility device to help them through the day. Or when managing simple activities of daily living become a burden, just the thought of having a compassionate, caring community health care provider may be just enough to help you feel better. For our team of care and service professionals, the cornerstone of everything we do is About You. We are dedicated to meeting your personal needs with the highest degree of integrity and that means delivering our service in a way that helps you thrive.
Improve your quality of life!
It’s the little things that count
Personal stories from our satisfied clients
Meet Sally, a nursing home resident
Life was not happening the way I had planned. My health, my mobility was quickly disappearing because of disease running through my body. I had been so active throughout my life and thought getting older just meant slowing down. When my daughter suggested I should consider going into a long term care home I panicked and felt betrayed. I believed that I would be forgotten, strapped to a bed, with only a window to see the outside world.
Meet Bill, a home health care client
When I was asked to provide a letter for the Able website, I eagerly agreed. I am 73 years old and have always felt very positive about life. Even though I have had a few health issues, I maintained my independence and still live at home with my wife. Recently though, my health became more of an issue for me and the burden was placed on my wife’s shoulders. Community services were very difficult to get with each passing day I was starting to wonder if I could remain in my home.
Meet Kate, an occupational therapist
As an Occupational Therapist our role is to help support and encourage patients throughout their transition of rehabilitation and return to functional daily living. One of the most basic of functions people take for granted is mobility. When a client is faced with the truth that they must use a wheelchair for the rest of their life, it sets off a chain of emotions, including denial, depression and loss of self worth.
